The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Ekurhuleni is calling on the City of Ekurhuleni to urgently address the escalating crime occurring at Cloverdene ground.
The long uncut grass has become a haven for criminals who attack unsuspecting victims walking home from work. The safety of our community cannot continue to be compromised by an uncaring government. We therefore call on the MMC for Community Safety to urgently intervene and ensure our residents are safe.
The DA, together with the community will be launching a petition calling for immediate intervention. As a caring party, we cannot stand idle while community members are being robbed and raped!
