DA Congratulates Executive Mayor Ald. Tania Campbell on Excellence Award for Municipal Clean Audit

The Democratic Alliance in Ekurhuleni would like to congratulate, Executive Mayor, Ald. Tania Campbell on receiving an Excellence Award for Municipal Clean Audit at the SALGA Municipal Women Leadership Excellence Awards.

The awards took place at the Birchwood hotel, during Women’s Month. The SALGA awards are an annual celebration of achievements of local government and the individuals who strive to go the extra mile.

This year the spotlight was on the country’s outstanding women leaders in municipal management, exhibited by way of good governance and service delivery, as shown through clean audits.

The City of Ekurhuleni is one of 15 municipalities to receive this award from SALGA.

The DA commends the Executive Mayor and the Multi-Party Coalition Government’s efforts as evidenced though a clean audit outcome and the positive turnaround in service delivery in the City through the back-to-basics approach.

It is indeed an honour to be led by an outstanding Mbokodo, who is at the forefront of service delivery and getting the basics right.
