The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Ekurhuleni is pleased to announce the names of the ward committee members for Ward 106.
The election of a ward committee plays an important role in our communities as it allows for residents to actively take part in determining core municipal processes such as the Integrated Development Planning (IDP) and municipal budgeting in a manner that best addresses their needs.
These elected structures also provide a vital link between Ward Councillors and the community through processes such as public participation at local government level where residents can make recommendations on ward issues and hold the Ward Councillor accountable on the execution of their duties.
Please see below for a list of positions and the elected representative:
· Cllr. Timothy Denny — Ward Committee Chairperson
· Nina McFarlane — Ward Committee Secretary
· Bronwyn Brajevich- Women and Children
· Nicolene Haasbroek — SHRAC (Sports, Heritage, Recreation, arts and Culture)
· Estelle Brits — Environment

· Sandra Lodder — Local Economic Development
· Stafie Pelser — Aged and Disability
· Bagcinele Kwinda — Youth Sector
· Lance Botha — Public Safety
