DA welcomes Community Clean up Campaign in Ward 31

Democratic Alliance (DA) in the City of Ekurhuleni welcomes the clean-up campaign efforts in Van dyk Park by community members.

Earlier this month, the DA in ward 31 along with community stakeholders and community members cleaned up the area.

Enon families Kerk organized a community clean up to raise awareness of the health hazards caused by illegal dumping.

The long Grass and the lack of grass cutting has caused also caused an increase in illegal dumping and crime to increase in the area.

The clean-up took place at the Vandyk park, at the park, where the community was actively involved in cleaning up the park.

The DA in ward 31, is pleased to see that the resident of Van dyk Park is heeding the call to help keep Ekurhuleni clean.
