DA welcomes school shoe donation to children from Slovo Informal Settlement

The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Ekurhuleni welcomes the donation of school shoes to children in need from the Slovo Informal Settlement by businesses in the Brakpan area.
The handover took place at an event at the Brakpan Airfield Training Centre on January 26, 2022.
The handover serves as a reminder that many of the City’s children do not have access to some of the most basic resources, which excludes them from access to basic education. It also serves as a timeous reminder of the important role that local business and industry can play in uplifting those who are underprivileged and lack access to resources, which many of us take for granted.
The DA in Ekurhuleni encourages further initiatives that may assist the social upliftment of our communities..
