DA’s Henning elected Infrastructure Committee Chairperson in Ekurhuleni

The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Ekurhuleni would like to congratulate Councillor Pieter Henning on being elected the Infrastructure Committee Chairperson in the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).

Cllr. Henning has served as a councillor in Ekurhuleni since 2011 and has held numerous positions of leadership within the DA Caucus. Cllr. Henning takes up this important position bringing with him a wealth of legislative experience.

In previous political terms, Cllr. Henning served in the City Planning, Infrastructure, Programming and Rules Oversight Committees.

He is confident that he will positively contribute to the processes of Council and promote amicable engagements between political parties, that will ultimately result in better service delivery for the City’s residents.

The Committee Chairperson’s role is to determine the meeting agenda and preside over committee meetings. Cllr. Henning brings energy and rigour to this position and is ready to perform his functions, tasks, and duties.

Cllr. Henning is passionate about the communities of Ekurhuleni and is ready to serve all residents of the CoE.

As the DA, we are confident that Cllr. Henning will lead with honour and integrity, and in the best interests of Council and the residents of the City.
