The DA in Ward 92, Ekurhuleni is pleased to see the back-to-basics approach and the clear signs of moving forward under the new administration.
This past week, the Roads Department was onsite in Meadowdale, Tunney and Acacia Park doing road maintenance work which ranged from the filling of potholes to painting road markings.
These areas are part of the industrial hub of ward 92 and good safe roads are key to our development.
The streetlights team is also working daily to fix , replace and conduct maintenance to the entire ward’s streetlights.
As the Ward councillor for Ward 92, I welcome the progress being made on road repairs and it is a testament to the success of the City’s Back to Basics campaign in improving service delivery.
Whilst this is a City-wide program, and roads have been identified for repairs, I would like to I encourage residents to continue reporting potholes on the ‘My Ekurhuleni Service Delivery App’, call into the City’s call centre on 0860 543 000 or log via email on Call.Centre@ekurhuleni.gov.za
