The Democratic Alliance (DA) Ward Councillor, Cllr Desmond Mackenzie for Ward 91, is aware of the concerns that have been raised by residents regarding the current state of Mooifontein Road, which is one of the main roads used in the ward.
As the DA, we are pleased to inform residents that the Roads and Storm Water Department has appointed a contractor, who is currently on site, resurfacing 750 metres between Norkem Park and Birchleigh North.
This comes as a big relief to both motorists and residents who utilise the road on a daily basis.
We welcome the progress being made on road repairs and it confirms the strides being made by the Multi-Party Coalition’s Back to Basics programme in improving service delivery across the City.
