The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Ekurhuleni would like to applaud all nurses employed in our City for their service to our residents and communities.

On May 12th 2023, we celebrate International Nurses Day.

At the heart of primary healthcare service provision in our City, are our nurses, who passionately and tirelessly serve our communities.

From neonates to the elderly, we have relied on this noble profession to bring comfort, care, and healing to our loved ones. This was particularly evident during the Covid 19 pandemic, when nurses were at the coalface of medical care, during the most unprecedented health crisis we had seen in a generation.

The DA in Ekurhuleni applauds the nursing staff who continue to honour their calling and serve our residents with compassion and diligence every day.
