Name: Clifford Mohau

Ward: Ward 58, Ekurhuleni

My name is Clifford Mohau, and I am the Democratic Alliance Ward 58 Candidate in the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).

I am standing as a Ward Councillor because I believe in the DA’s policy for freedom, fairness, and opportunity. My passion is to serve the community and to address their issues by using Council processes.

The main issues I will be driving in Ward 58 are electricity outages, persistent sewer leaks and blockages, crime, and youth unemployment.

My vision for the ward is to see it being a crime free ward by working closely with the CoE to ensure police visibility in crime hotspot areas. I also want to assist with the high rate to youth unemployment by bringing investors in the ward to create job opportunities. I would also like to see the establishment of sports and recreation facilities for the community.

I am incredibly passionate about the youth and during my spare time I help pupils and students with homework and assignments.

I also engage with the community through community meetings and community forums like CPF.

As a resident in the area, I relate to the issues that are plagued by the community and I will go the extra mile to drive these issues.
